I lately designed the icon/logo for the Internetbrunnen (Internetwell), a project whose goal is to provide internet on the basis of donations.
The project was initiated by the association PENG — Association for the promotion of Design, Art & Communication in Mainz, Germany and the Co-Founder Alex Boerger.
The icon will help people to find places with an Internetwell.

Mainz City Icons

Interface icons for the website “MAINZ CITY” a great city guide for Mainz with actual event dates and selected locations. Another core feature is to switch the mode to “SAVING IN MAINZ” and see today´s speacial offers all around the city. The icons are designed in form of a pin and mark the selected locations. The information content can be extentended by the badges “Photo, Video & Special Content”.

PICOL

I graduated with this work at the university of Applied Sciences in Mainz.
The result of my diploma is a pictorial language, a dynamic website, a blog,
a motiongraphics documentary and a poster with all PICOL signs (below).

PICOL is an project for providing free and open icons for electronic devices.
The aim is to find a common pictorial language for electronic communication
and to ease the navigation. All icons free to use and open to alter.
Soon all icons will be available for download on www.picol.org.
Further news on this project can be seen on the Blog.

This project was awarded at :output 12 and is published in the output book

MOST WANTED

Im Kurs “most wanted” haben wir uns mit Strategien und Maßnahmen beschäftigt,
wie man den besten Nachwuchs für die Fachhochschule Mainz gewinnen kann.
Entstanden ist dabei ein Reader, der unsere Untersuchungen und Strategien festhält.
Zudem wurden die Erkenntnisse exemplarisch an einem Wochenkalender umgesetzt.
Die Kernidee dieses Entwurfs besteht darin die kühlen und unpersönlichen
Informationen des Studiengangs, durch eine persönliche gezeichnete Ebene zu unterstützen.

Schlaraffenland

Corporate Design for Cockaigne (Schlaraffenland). Infinity and fun are the core values of the Corporate Design. The logo is a 2D-Version of the Möbius strip. It´s 3D version is used as design element and can be used in unlimited forms.

This project was made in cooperation with Thomas Färber at Prof. Robert Paulmanns Corporate Design course.
